Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These terms explain how the internet service from SF BD Online (“we”, “us”) works and what we and you, the subscriber, agree to. By applying for a connection or using our service, you accept these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Applying for a connection

  • To register, you must give us your correct name, mobile number, installation address and a valid identity document (such as your NID), as required by Bangladesh telecom rules.
  • Please tell us promptly if any of these details change. We may refuse or end a connection that was registered with false or someone else’s information.
  • Installation time depends on your area and whether our network already reaches your building. We will tell you the expected date when we confirm your request. In some locations a connection may not be technically possible.

2. Your package and speed

  • Package speeds are the maximum speed we provide to your connection (“up to”). Real speeds on your devices can be lower because of Wi-Fi signal, the number of devices, device capability, and the performance of websites and international routes outside our network.
  • You can upgrade or downgrade your package. Changes normally start from the next billing cycle unless we agree otherwise.
  • Package features and prices are shown on our website and may change. Where government taxes, VAT or BTRC-approved tariffs change, prices may be adjusted accordingly. We will try to inform you in advance whenever possible.

3. Billing and payment

  • Bills are monthly and payable in advance, on or before the due date shown on your bill or message.
  • You can pay through the methods we list (such as bKash, Nagad, bank or at our office). Keep your payment reference until the payment appears on your account.
  • If a bill stays unpaid after the due date, we may suspend the connection after a reminder. Service is restored once the outstanding amount and any reconnection charge in our current tariff are paid.
  • One-time charges (such as installation, shifting or reconnection) are shown before the work is done.

4. Equipment

  • Equipment we supply for your connection (for example ONU, media converter, cable or router) remains our property unless you bought it from us.
  • Please keep it safe, powered properly and away from water and heat. Do not open, modify or move our equipment or fiber/cable lines yourself.
  • If equipment is lost or damaged through misuse, you may be charged for repair or replacement. Equipment we own must be returned when the connection is closed.
  • To move your connection to a new address, contact us first. Shifting is done by our technicians and a shifting charge may apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the connection to:

  • break any law of Bangladesh or any BTRC regulation;
  • send spam, spread malware, or attack, scan or gain unauthorised access to any network or device;
  • share, publish or download illegal content, or infringe other people’s rights;
  • resell the connection or share it outside your registered premises without our written permission;
  • place unreasonable load on the network in a way that harms other subscribers.

We may suspend or close a connection that is used in these ways, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities as required by law. You are responsible for activity on your connection, so please protect your Wi-Fi with a strong password.

6. Maintenance and interruptions

  • We sometimes carry out planned maintenance. When it may affect your service, we will try to notify you in advance.
  • Service can also be interrupted by events outside our control, such as power failures, fiber cuts by third parties, natural disasters, problems with upstream providers, or government directives. We work to restore service as quickly as possible.
  • If you have a fault, contact our support team. Our technicians may need access to your premises to fix it.

7. Ending the service

  • You can close your connection at any time by contacting us. Please let us know before your next billing date so you are not charged for a new month. Any unpaid dues must be cleared and our equipment returned.
  • We may suspend or close a connection for unpaid bills, misuse, false registration information, or if required by law.

8. Limitation of liability

  • We provide the service with reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We are not responsible for content, services or products provided by third parties through the internet, or for loss of data on your devices.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost business or profit). Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected month, except where the law does not allow this limit.

9. Complaints

If you are not happy with our service, contact our support team using the details below. We will log your complaint, give you a reference, and try to resolve it as quickly as possible. You may also contact BTRC if a complaint is not resolved.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its “last updated” date. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
